Products Description
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Is An Electronic System Used For Real-time Monitoring Of Tire Pressure And Temperature In Automobiles. Its Core Components AreTire Pressure Monitoring TPMS SensorThe Main Functions Include:
Real Time Monitoring Of Tire Pressure And Temperature: By Using Built-in Pressure And Temperature Sensors, Real-time Data On Tire Internal Pressure And Temperature Can Be Obtained.
Data Transmission And Warning: Sensors Transmit Monitored Data To The Vehicle's Receiver Via Wireless Radio Frequency (RF) And Alert The Driver Through An Alarm When Tire Pressure Is Abnormal.
Fault Diagnosis: Some TPMS Systems Have Self Diagnostic Functions That Can Detect Sensor Faults And Alert Users.
Working Principle
The Working Principle Of TPMS Sensors Can Be Divided Into Two Types:
Direct TPMS:
Install Pressure Sensors Inside Each Tire To Directly Measure The Air Pressure And Temperature Inside The Tire.
The Data Is Transmitted Wirelessly To The Vehicle's Receiver, With High Accuracy And Strong Reliability.
Usually Powered By Built-in Batteries, The Battery Life Is Generally 5-10 Years.
Indirect TPMS:
By Monitoring The Wheel Speed Through The Wheel Speed Sensors In The Vehicle's ABS Or ESP System, It Can Be Inferred Whether The Tire Pressure Is Abnormal.
The Cost Is Lower, But The Accuracy Is Not As Good As Direct TPMS, Especially When The Tire Wear Is Uneven, The False Alarm Rate Is Higher.
